Luca Nichetto and Massimo Gardone

Luca Nichetto and Massimo Gardone designed the Waqashi Collection. Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976 where he studied at the Institute of Art and at the IUAV where he graduated in Industrial Design. In 1999 he began his professional activity drawing his first products in Murano glass for Salviati. In 2006 Luca Nichetto founded his studio and created the Nichetto&Partners society. He held workshops in different universities in Europe, United States and Japan.

Today Luca Nichetto works with brands as Foscarini, Moroso, Kristalia, Salviati, Meritalia, Casamania by Frezza. Music, photography and video have always intersected in the work of Massimo Gardone, following and guiding him in his projects. In creating Azimut Studio, he has collaborated with the foremost Italian graphic designers and contributed to the communication of prestigious trademarks. In the course of time he has approached different artistic experiences, including the creation of design objects. Today, Massimo Gardone would like to remain focused on the interior poetics, intent on seeing himself positioning images in the world, staying at home, connected, inventing them.
