Ilaria Marelli

Architect and designer, Marelli founded the creative lab ILARIA MARELLI studio in 2003, after 5 years collaboration with Cappellini Spa. Her studio provides product and communication consultancy to design-oriented companies, and is specialized in exhibition and interior design. Marelli's well-known clients include: Zanotta, Nemo-Cassina, Cappellini, Coin, Variazioni, Pitti Immagine, Invicta, Lancia, gruppo World Japan Group. Ilaria Marelli is professor in Service and Strategic Design at the Milan Politecnico.

Marelli's designs are characterized by smooth lines, clean-cut figures, and brilliant finish options. Her lighting designs for Nemo include The Chain Desk Lamp, and the Ara Floor Lamp, both innovative works of art.
