Ferdi Giardini

Born in 1959 in Turin, Italy where he lives and works, Ferdi Giardini is a talented sculptor with an impressive row of exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His approach to design comes from various experiences with the design and set-up of theatre scenographies made of many different materials (in particular wood, paper and foam-rubber) and the construction of models and architectural projects.

In 1995, under the pseudonym of Emilio Giar, he took part in the design exhibition "Dal Cucchiaio All Automobile" (from the Spoon to the Car) at the Automotive Museum of Turin, an exhibition that has been moved to Stuttgart, Amsterdam and Chicago.
