Domenico Perrucci

Born in Varese, Italy in 1964, Domenico Perruci started as a designer for Bassani Ticino S.p.A.

After earning a technical degree, he developed skills ranging from the design of plastic and shear molds to the design of final products.

While working for Bassani Ticino, he also had the opportunity to cooperate with the architect Zecca.

At the beginning of the 1990s, Domenico Perrucci worked as a senior engineer in Switzerland at Ligo Electric in the field of small household applicances, thus widening his knowledge about solid molding.

In 1994 he designed products with high tech contents in the field of ventilation and aspiration and later became responsible for the whole project in which he dealt with ISO 9001 standards. In 1997 he started working as a senior designer for Luceplan S.p.A., cooperating with designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Ferdi Giardini, Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Meda.

• 1999 - Selected at the competition Young and Design with his prototype lamp Chichibio, designed with Amedeo Guidobono Cavalchini and now produced by Luceplan.
