Alfonso Fontal
Alfonso Fontal (Barcelona) has been developing his
artistic inclinations since he was a child, associated
to a great curiosity and his skill for drawing. After his
training as an industrial and interior designer, he founded
Modiss in 1994 and is in charge of its aesthetic line.
His passion for experimentation has received international acknowledgment on several occasions; for example in 2000 with the Pinnacle Award of the American Society of Furniture Designers, and more recently the Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.
